WREATHS

Wreaths are as big of a deal to Christmas as the tree!

Pottery Barn

The first thing that you see when you arrive to someones house is their front door. And what better to greet you than a beautiful wreath?!

Our Suburban Cottage

They can be as traditional as the one's above, or whimsical for a more youthful decor.

I'm actually decorating with both! The more traditional wreath, but with an updated color palette, and the more modern fun wreath with a traditional color scheme

In this photo I tweaked the wreath a bit and turned on the lights. I like a lit wreath! Oh and no this one is not for inside. I hung it here until I find my wreath hanger for the glass door!

I am actually still working on this wreath as you can see. I burned myself pretty bad making this wreath and had to stop for a minute. Stay tuned for the finished wreath!

I don't know about you, but I love a good wreath! Stay tuned for my upcoming Christmas Projects (more wreaths are definitely included)!!

I'm sharing this with Melissa @ the Inspired Room Holiday Linky Party

Oh, I'm scared of you--you are NOT playing around! You did a great job on both. I need to get my butt in gear. You kept talking about the pottery barn one, and now I see what you're talking about. I really like it--so much that I might steal it from you!! I thought you were going to show that burn. Hope you didn't loose all of your skin!

I love wreaths also. And once again I find we are alike. I am working on the ornament wreath and stopped becaquse I couldn't handle another ouchie. Try using a pencil or a short dowel to push things into the glue.

Can't wait to see your final wreath.

These are absolutely beautiful. I've never tried making one of these. I keep thinking about it. You've inspired me.

Your wreaths look great! I'm sorry you burned yourself! I have a couple of good ones on my fingers and thumb too. I was actually thinking this would be a fun project for my 10 year old daughter and me to work on together. I'm glad I didn't have her work the glue gun though!
