TO SKIRT OR NOT TO SKIRT

Yesterday while catching up on my magazines and store catalogs, I ran across a skirted table in Ballard Design

Then I started looking for other skirted round tables!

Tom Sheerer

These aren’t round, but you get my drift!

I’m wondering how that would look for this table in my bedroom

I think the base of the table is what I’m concerned about.  It just look too restaurant style to me.  What do you think?

Oh and by the way, I did find a frame to complete the gallery wall! I’ll share that tomorrow!

Skirt for sure! I like the pleated skirts. They just look more tailored and neat. Please share what you come up with!

I would definitely say skirt it!! It's an especially good way to bring a fun fabric into the room. It will be beautiful! : )

I think this would be a great idea for your table and also a great way to include the purple color you've been thinking of - so go for it! :)

I'm joining the consensus. Table cloth would be great. Can't wait to see what you decide.

A skirted table is always nice. It brings visual weight, but softens up the space. It can take a substantial lamp and you can hide things underneath. Always a good choice. Ann

I think it won't look like a restaurant table afterwards. In all of the pics, the legs are completely hidden.
Still, without seeing the room, I wonder why there's a table in that corner. How about a reading nook?

Skirt that thing baby!

Skirt it! It will bring more color and texture to the room and give you a chance to use some of your favorite fabrics (if you have one picked out already).
