BROWN AND YELLOW?

After a while, you guys are gonna totally think I'm nuts. No, seriously. How often do I get sidetracked by something and then go in a different direction? Here is my latest craze:

Brown & Yellow

via

I'm really crushing on this color combo for my bedroom "right now". I don't know if it's my new blog design (thanks Erika!), Dayka's first mood board for my bedroom (thanks Dayka), or this photo that I took after trying to see if the chairs I purchased awhile back would work in my bedroom (scale not as is!).

What are your thoughts on brown and yellow (mustard yellow)? Is it hot or not? And, is my constant changing/ sidetracking normal? I mean really, what happened to my brown and blue obsession?

LOVE YOUR NEW BLOG DESIGN, DIGGING THE BROWN AND YELLOW. I did a mood board some time back on a wedding scheme of these colors. I think they are hot together:) Great Job to your pal Erica. I do love the flower design of it.

I love the yellow and brown, I think it is very hot. Even thought I like the brown and blue still this just seems to say class to me. Constant sidetracking is my middle name so sidetrack away, I think its a good thing.

I love the background for your blog. Maybe you could find some fabric like this for pillows!

Yellow and brown is nice, too. I think you have to make a decision and just keep adding layer on top of layer until it feels right. Go with your gut!

I have always liked the brown and yellow combo. I was actually thinking about it for my laundry room.

I like the brown and yellow if it includes white. The white makes it fresh for me. I hope not being able to make up your mind is normal, otherwise I'm extremely abnormal. :-)

Tough decisions! I'm personally leaning toward the brown and blue, it just feels a little more calming to me {perfect for a bedroom}. I love that chair with all it's tufted beautifulness! Good luck with your decision! Lisa

you know that i love both, but i'm glad to see that chair in the room. i think i remember mentioning that once upon a time . . . :) i have to say i agree with erika--i think you just have to pick and keep adding before you can really tell if you're going to like something. you have been talking about the blue for awhile, so it seems like it might be hard to get away from (plus, what little ceramic piece will you carry in the car???).

oh yeah, but of course i love these images. i was thinking about this for awhile.

LOL - the chair looks great in your sapce -- why not add yellow in as the third color along with your other colors

personally, I huge fan of yellow! I have it all over the place in my living room and plan on adding it my kitchen - gl

I love these colors together. Never thought of this combo. I'm still partial to blue though. They both give off good vibes though, especially with a rich color like brown.

I LOVE it, like Erika says keep going until it feels right to you. I know that have the very same problem. I start in one direction, but something else catchs my eye..and off I go.

It looks very chic, and just imagine this color story with your gold chandelier. You ARE GETTING the chandlelier, right? I really don't think a gold toned ceiling fan is going to work! :)

Indecision...very very common! Janell

I say keep at it until you find what makes your skirt twirl...that's totally normal.
