YES THEY'RE FROM IKEA

Have you seen all the "hacks" done on the Ikea RAST chest?

Just in case you've recently crawled from under a rock here are a few:

And here is my all time favorite (found here):

The above photo has two of my favorite things: the rast chest (hacked of course) and the Colette bed from Crate and Barrel!

I think these are going to be perfect for my nightstands. I'm going to purchase them tomorrow. Next up...finding the perfect lamps (YES LAMPS!). I'm thinking brass!

I've seen the image with the Colette bed, but the others are new! I love them all. Are you going to pimp your "RAST" with the brass ring handles?

Isn't it amazing that they all started out like that first image? Love the transformations. Looking forward to seeing yours.

They look wide enough to possible put files in...hum. You've got me thinking. Thanks! Can't wait to see what you do with yours. And Brass...perfect!

My girls really need bigger dressers (they are using the ones from when they were babies - and now they are teen!) I was thinking about a wardrobe. I need to visit the hack sites and figure out my least expensive (yet pretty) option, then head to Ikea.
Thanks!

Hey! Thanks so much for including our hack! They are hands down, my favourite project because (a) it's simple (b) No tools required and (c) have a pretty awesome outcome.

I'm having great fun reading your blog, and am delighted that I came across it!
