MY WEEKEND IN PICTURES

Hi guys! Today’s post is full of pictures.  I need to get a few things out and then I’ll talk about everything later in the week.  I’m kind of in the middle of something right nowSmile

I started painting my refrigerator in chalkboard paint (Oh yes I did!)

image

I’m not done, this is the during picture!

I hung a bamboo blind over my sink

image

I almost decided to do away with the blinds all together, but I changed my mind.  I’ll talk more about this later too.

I got my copy of House of Fifty in the mail! Boom Bam Bim!

image

Oh yeah, it still ROCKS!

I pulled out my Christmas decorations and headed to Michaels to see what else I needed.  I NEED THESE GOLD LEAVES!

image

Took back my WACK hardware that I ordered from Home Depot

image

They were supposed to had been apart of the same group…Clearly they aren’t

Brendan found some that he thought would work

image

I vetoed that… And found some we both agreed on!

image

The clutch that I won from Hammocks and High Tea end up being blue suede and I almost ran and kiss the delivery guy when I saw the color!

image

I think I need a blue sofa for my Chiang Mai Dragon!!! More on that later, too!

I almost ended my blog over the weekend.  I wrote this long post about why and how I can’t do this and can’t do that and blah blah blah, then my internet went out. I tell ya, there is a higher power out there with plans for me that I can’t even imagine!

I’m glad that I couldn’t post that.  What would I do without you guys?!
Happy Monday!

ps, you know how I love Abby from Flair Designery, right?  Well… I’m working on something with her for any of you that have considered ordering from her shop.  Stay tuned for that!

I would have been sad to see the blog go but honestly I havent been working on mine or refinishing furniture as much. It seems that Im just moving into a different place than I was a couple of years ago and I consider that a GOOD thing. I got a call from my Mom on Sunday morning that made me realize that life is too short to do what you don't WANT to do (unless it involves something serious like feeding your kids!) So do what YOU feel is right for you...we'll be hear to support either way!

If you haven't already gotten those gold leaves that you really need from Michael's now is the time to get them. They are 50% off! I just saw them yesterday in my local Michael's.
