I am staying out of it. I am the one who told your to paint your garage door darker than the rest of your house and you had to re-do it. (please don't hold that against me and don't block me from your site!) Keep plugging along. You will be thrilled when it is all over and you have a beautiful room! -Trish
Follow your instincts!! Do exactly what you want in this room...I like the chair in the room! Is it staying? The browns seem to work well with it...what is your idea?
Why are you struggling with the color, are you afraid it is too dark? Is it the tone? Too warm, too cool? Don't be afraid to go for it, remember it is only paint (and time!!) I once painted a master Devine Cocoa and loved it. It worked well I think because the dark was balanced with a lot of light elements. Good luck girl!!!
Oh, I love the fabric you mentioned in the comment on my post! AND THANKS FOR THE LINK!! That fabric resource looks fabulous...anyway, back to the fabric. Wonderful pattern with many colors to pull from it. I'd order a sample and see it in the room, definitely! Janell
OOh your going dark! What about the brown paint your used for yuor closet office? Would that work?
Words of encouragment: Keep thinking about the feeling your want your bedroom to invoke. Look, look and look at your inspiration...that will guide you :)
I like the two on the top--to me (I know you hate that I say this), the one on the bottom is too red, but I'll be able to tell better when I stop by. Hold your breath, I'll be coming soon!
it's always worse before it gets better. Don't get frustrated - the result will be totally worth it!!! Can't wait to see what you choose! I've been working on a dresser makeover as well - inspired by you!
No Comment! Right! Given that I have seen your space and your actual work. I'm sure you won't like this but....do what you feel and forget about screwing up. Like you say, it's just paint! Eventually you will find your true love! You like living on the edge! So jump! Your BLOGGERS will catch you!

I am positive it will come to you. I stink at paint colors. I had 5 different ones on a kitchen wall for a month! LOL BTW, your kitchen looks great.

Have you considered a blue-gray? I used Ben Moore's Wedgewood Gray in a client's Master BR recently and it is gorgeous!!!
