THAT'S IT. I'M GOING BLACK!

If you've been reading this blog for a while, then you may remember when I was planning to paint my kitchen cabinets black. I like black kitchen cabinets, but many people did not see my vision.

Nice right?! Do you think that I can pull it off? Or should I stick to white? Or, should I get back to work on my bedroom and stop getting sidetracked? Let me know!

Want to see more of this kitchen like the before and during stages? Well, head over to Anything Pretty and meet Jenny and all of her DIY awesomeness!

Why we gotta keep telling you to do what you feel is right for you? But since you asking, I think that black is sexy, so I say go with the black.

Part II, unless you are trying to create a {modern} cottage-y feel, stay with the white, otherwise, the black.

i love these kitchens! there is lot of white there so the black doesn't seem to make the space smaller.

Stick with the white because they look great the way they are...so how's the bedroom going?

I think you have a case of ADD going on...you want to ADD more to your kitchen but Attention & Decor Deprive your bedroom!

Okay I am tired and a little nuts this week but I totally made that one up myself!

Lakeitha, you're too funny! I've been known to jump back and forth between projects.
Personally, I LoVe black cabinetry. It definately makes a statement! What's your hubby think?

I think you can do it. No! I know you can do it. I may even have a great accent fabric to help seal the deal.

I like black...I say do it..I always say do what others wont do. Take chances...and before you know it..people will be asking you where and how you got that done.

I love the black, but I'm so into white cabinets right now. White just seems so clean and fresh. To each their own though. If you are still thinking about the black, go for it! I love a high gloss black, now that would be killer!!

How 'bout some black and some white cabinets. Then, you won't have to choose. I'm sure that this can work in the right kitchen.

oh gosh. i don't know. that example kitchen is stunning. i haven't visited you or jannell in a while, so maybe it's time for me to play catch-up. And...dare i advise a near-stranger to try to focus on one room when i can't do so myself?

have a happy!

i know i am late in the commenting arena, but wanted to just post and say you sound just like me! i like to jump back and forth between projects, but unfortunately for me, sometimes the projects don't get finished. i hope you finished your room, i'll have to browse around to see if you have!
i love the look of black cabinets, i was considering going black myself. i think you need to have a lot of light in a room to pull off black cabinets though, i don't have a lot of light pouring into my kitchen so i am going white. plus, i think after the novelty wore off i would eventually tire of the black and go white anyway.
