HALCYON GREEN 6213

I may not have the chance to post tomorrow, but I wanted to let you all know the color of the bathroom walls.  The powder room is painted Halcyon green by Sherwin Williams.

These pictures definitely aren’t the best, but they are close to what’s in there!

By the way, I need a rug for my kitchen… I think something with green in it? Or maybe blue? What are your thoughts?!

Rugs in kitchens are hard. I'm thinking a colorful kilim or sisal.

Your space looks great! Rugs are a pain in the kitchen, do you put in front of the sink, stove or the center of the space? With that being said, I would choose something that would add a pop of color like yellow but don't spill anything. You will find something fabulous I'm sure.

I think since your kitchen is entirely neutral you can do anything you want!

How about one made out of Flor tiles?

OOh, I think I might know the one ... just have to remember where I got it. Will pull all the colors together and give you a nice organic, of the earth feel. Colors are teal, greens and rusts I think .... I'll find it and send it to you.

Also, was visiting one of my fave blogs this am http://www.goinghometoroost.com and it made me think of you. I'd love to see your header something like this one that mimics that background you use to have. Wish I wasnt in school right now, I'd make it for you.

Anway, miss you -- Merry Christmas!!

How about a vibrant oriental runner? I have one one my sink wall and it cushions the feet and hides everything!!

Love the color in the powder room! And rugs in a kitchen, I've never had one...if I did I'd probably want one that didn't shift so I didn't trip on it! The flors suggestion is probably a good idea! Janell
