“FALL” IN LOVE…..With Your Porch!

Tonia from Chic Modern Vintage and I have had numerous conversations on how our porch and my patio lack any type of appeal.  And given the season change, we thought that it’s a great time to “FALL” in love with our porches!

We each have our own plans for our spaces and mine are as follows:

1)New door color

2) New welcome mat

3) Hopefully a few plants!

4) A DIY wreath similar to the one I made last year, but better!

5) Maybe a few pumpkins!

I have taken on the task of also trying to spruce up my back “patio” (If that’s what you want to call it!)

With this space, I would like to add a few things to make it a great spot to hang out while catching a cool breeze and watching the kids play!

We plan to work on our projects the entire month of October and give you updates weekly until we are finish and ready to reveal the space the first week on November!  To see Tonia’s pace head over to her blog!

But that’s not all! Have any of you started on your “Fall” Decor? I would love to do my very first linky and would like for you to join in!

So will you join us in “Falling” in love with you porch or patio?  Or, have you already started on your Fall projects?!

What a fun idea to work on parallel projects with another blogger, that will keep you on task! No fall decor around here yet...soon?

I can not wait to see what you have planned. You know I'll be looking for some help too :)

This was a great idea for you and Tonia to tag team on a project! There is sooo much on the web that serve as great inspiration. Kate at Centsational Girl just had a DIY for painted pumpkins. This would be a great addition to your porch design!

Sadly, no! I keep looking at the exterior of my home going "OMG - I seriously need to get on this!" What a great idea to pair up with someone to get it done. Hmmm. Can't wait to see the progress!

Tis the season to work on porches. My sister and I keep coming up with similar ideas for ours. Good luck on yours. Love the picture of the pumpkins too.

I like the team effort and it will be fun to see what you both come up with. I will link up IF I have any fall decorating to share at that point. Kind of a big IF, but you never know. :-)

The new welcome mat is a nice change, I really love the colors. Perfect match for your wreath :)

The door color is pretty. We're thinking about painting ours red.

The new door color is so nice. Making your front door into a hangout place may require a lot of time and money, yet you proved me wrong. I also renovated our front yard and I decided to have our small fountain's flooring with some tile. Clearwater is now easily distinguished. Hope you can try that when you start making some plant box. Tiles, whether new or used can be good in decorating.
