MONDAYS….BLAH

Am I the only one who feels like the weekend went by entirely too fast?  Goodness.  I didn’t get a lot done, but I did manage to squeeze in finishing up one of my pieces for the office.

I’m headed back in there now to finish up the other one, but I ‘m still trying to figure out if I should leave it the original black/brown color or go gold.  Hmmm… Your thoughts?

GOLDEN

Gold and brass accents in a space really speak to me.  It adds a bit of glamour don’t you think?!?! One way that I’m looking to bring in gold to my office is with my desk chair.  Here are a few inspiration images of gold chairs that I’ve been swooning over

AT A SNAILS PACE….

 

Today this room will be cleared out and the walls will be finished.  With that out of the way, I’ll be able to put up (hopefully) an IKEA ‘EXPEDIT’ bookcase and bring in my desk. 

I’m pulling inspiration for this room from this image (below).  I absolutely adore it.  The wall color, the color of the campaign piece, the art, the leopard, and the gold, it’s pretty much my vision for my space.

HOW DO YOU STYLE YOUR COFFEE TABLE?

I know that maybe a weird question to ask someone, but have you ever wondered how to style yours?

I was looking at an old image of mine the other day and thought my styling could definitely use some help! It no longer looks like the above picture, but even now, it still needs help!

While scouring Pinterest for inspiration images of styled coffee tables, I realized that I’m not too far off with my styling.  I have the books (as you can see above!), so all I need now is some fresh flowers, a candle, and either a tray or a cool little trinket box or object.  That’s easy enough, right?  And for those of us with small children, I think keeping small pieces to a minimum is key here.  No matches and and little coasters, etc. would work for my table.  The larger the piece, the least likely it is for my 4 year old to play with  it

IS THIS THING STILL ON??

Ok guys, I’m back.  I’ve finally been able to get the bracelets photographed and the shop is open! So how did get into making bracelets?  I like pretty accessories and because I know other women like pretty accessories, I decided to open a shop. 

I still have a few different styles to upload (like silver), but I probably won’t get to that until this weekend or so because I’m ready to get back to blogging and working on my house! My soon to be office space is filled with vintage home accessories and jewelry making stuff.  It’s about time for some organization! Oh, and my husbands car was stolen the other day so we’ve been dealing with that   Anywho, I have a question. How do you style your coffee table?!?!
