YOU'RE EVERYTHING THAT I HOPED FOR (my closet that is).....

Take a look at where it started:

Now take a look at where it is now:

It is truly everything that I hoped for because I NEVER thought that I could pull off something like this. The small space was intimidating in the beginning, but I'm glad to say I DID IT!!! I have not finished the chair, but it is a work in progress! The trouble that I'm having with it is the color. I can't decide if I should paint it white, green, or pink. Would you ladies (and gentlemen) like to give your input? Pretty Please!

The giveaway winner will be announced tomorrow, so don't forget to enter if you haven't already!

I'm linking up to BNOTHP Metamorphosis Monday's and Kimba's DIY day and DIY show off and the shabby chic cottage and Funky Junk Interiors

LOVE it! I think, keep the chair white to match the desk...let your accessories do the talking. :)

Yeah, the shelves are finally up and they look great. I love the pops of color against the dark brown. I think I would go with green for the chair. Enjoy your space and may many creative ideas come from it!

Hi does indeed look great!

The shelves were worth the grief, huh? They look perfect in the space, love all the color...
Did you show a picture of the chair? I am thinking white, but not certain...will the chair be 'stored' outside the closet when the doors are shut? If so, then what color would go best with both the room and the new office space?

Enjoy it!! Janell

To answer your post on my blog...yes, I saw that dresser painted yellow in the fabulous master bedroom featured below. I'm going to go more tradition with mine and I can't wait to reveal it. I run a search for "french" on Craig's List all the time to see what kind of French Provincial furniture might be out there. That's how I found my beauty.

Very very cute! I love the colors. We used to have a "computer closet" in our living room. It was so nice to be able to close it up and not think about it. Of course it was never as cute as yours!

I have a linky party going on, come on over and link up! http://theshadesofpink.blogspot.com/2009/10/room-month-great-pumpkin.html

This looks great! So neat and organized. What if you paint the chair white and make a cushion from a fabric that has all the colors in it?

Maureen said...

Looks terrific! I would go with white for the chair too, since your 'hard' furnishings, desk, shelves, are also white.

i would never have thought that choco brown would work... but with the hot pink (my fav color) it brings it all together for you.
Now get to work lol

Love what you've done. When i first saw the office I too thought whit, perhaps with a patterned cushion with all the colors but hen I thought of the brown like the back wall. I'm sure you'll love what ever you do

Sarah @ Hennessey House said...

wow, how fantastic!

I say paint the chair white, so it's more versatile (that's the practical side of me speaking). But if you don't want to use it in another space when it's not in use in the closet, go for green for another fun punch of color!

I've been suspended from ebay numerous times. The first time, I sold an item and the buyer paid for it and I shipped it out. But after he received it he claimed that he had never received it, he did receive the package.

However, no item inside. He sent me back the box, and I had to give him a full refund. What crap is that? I ended up not refunding him and my accounts got closed.

Now everytime i create a new account I get banned again!! What can I do? I did find this ebook ebay stealth and I really think its worth the 30 bucks they ask for it.. I'm about to buy it too! If any of you have any suggestions or tips feel free to let me know!

Thanks again, ralph
