This past weekend I was able to do something that I NEVER thought I would do. I met up with another blogger! Dayka from Life + Style. She actually posted about our meeting yesterday.
Let me start by saying I had a great time! I was so nervous prior to us meeting that I actually debated standing her up. Then I thought about it-- She is one of my followers. If I didn't go then I would probably lose a follower and I can't AFFORD that!!! So I kept telling myself that I can do it and I did!
We met at my favorite little hang out spot
Atlantic Station and had lunch ( she had dessert too). After eating (well she still had ice cream), we walked around a bit and took some pictures of some nice displays in West Elm
Z Gallerie: LOVE THIS MIRROR!
Dayka took these photos (for me) of this not so cute Christmas tree in Z Gallerie.
After leaving out of Z Gallerie we decided the ditch the lallygagging and we got down to business. She took me to some of her favorite thrift stores. I found a beautiful lamp and didn't take a picture of it.
Over all, the day went well and I really hope that we hang out again!
BTW....Next time we will definitely take pictures together!

YOU THOUGHT ABOUT STANDING ME UP!!!!!!?????? HOW DARE YOU! :) Um, the tree was not that bad--it had a lot of sparkle, and I told you I like the bling!
Now that sounds like a lot of FUN...I will be going to Atlantic Station next week...will be checking out the IKEA store there...can't wait!! Glad you day went well.
Blessings,
Linda
I think that's great! There's nothing like meeting (safely of course) people you have "met" through blogging. Two years ago, I met 20+ people that I had conversations with on Amazon.com. We have been in touch with each other ever since!
I can't wait to read the posts / photos that are going to come from the both of you after you start shopping and decorating!
How cool that you two got to meet in person!
Very cool. Thanks for posting.
Sounds like a nice afternoon. I'm sooo sad..Our Z Gallerie closed in St. Louis. I'm holding out hope they are simply relocating to another area..but I'm thinking the worst!
Fingers crossed,
Maureen
