GOODWILL HUNTING AND AN INVITATION!

I’m pretty sure that you guys are tired of me sharing my Goodwill finds with you.

Set of 5 chairs for $34.43

Last time I shared my finds with you I received many emails asking me what Goodwills I shop in Atlanta.

thrifty treasures 019 thrifty treasures 020

Wicker mirror for $15.91

thrifty treasures 021 thrifty treasures 022

French provincial chest, a little high, but it’s a good deal for a solid piece of furniture (changing table?)

I’m still kicking myself for not “needing” this sofa… Seriously, $90?

thrifty treasures 024 thrifty treasures 025

Myssie screamed at me for not getting this table! Its was $40! A very solid piece. It was great!

thrifty treasures 029 thrifty treasures 030

The bird house was $3.23 and no I didn’t get it (somebody slap my hand now)…I didn’t get the milk glass dish either…Am I allowed to curse on here?!?!

Lamps for my living room? Nope, I left them too… Oh, and let’s not get started on this cute little table. And guess what? I left it too!

So, here is where the invitation comes in…. I would like for you guys to join me on a Goodwill meet up! I have not decided on a date because I want to see how many of you are interested. I think this will be a great time for me to meet some of my readers and for you to get all of the great things that I leave behind. Once I see how many people are interested, I’ll set a date for the meet up.

So will you join me?!

I can not believe these finds. Each piece I was thinking about what I could do to make them fabulous. A meet up sounds great! Too bad I didn't live just around the corner, sounds like a great idea...

A meetup sounds great, like Janell too bad I don't like around the corner. And you mean to tell me that you didn't get the coffee table?

I would love to meet up! I don;t have my own blog (yet) but frequently visit many and have been wanting to meet up with some ladies that share my love for a good thrift store!! In fact, some of those items look very familiar (particularly the round mirror...Northlake??). I live in Stone Mountain, but frequent the Northlake, Buford Hwy, Lawrenceville Hwy, Snellville, and Roswell Road Goodwills! I love living in metro Atlanta because there is always a good will nearby!! I can be reached at sy _ johnson 75 @ hotmail dot com.

I could never have passed those things up, just not strong enough, I have a lot of items that weren't needed piled up on the back porch for future projects. When I did the dinette make over I had no need, when I finished it, I liked it so much that I sent my other one to my mother's for storage. Sherryd

Because of you I started back going to Goodwills all over L.A. I have bought alot of good stuff. I have a chair I need to restuff the seating and another I am making a pillow cover. Now I have to tell myself not to stop in every other day because they have loads of good stuff. LOL I need to read your instructions on refurbishing a lacquer chest that I have had for 20 years. You are awesome!
