NOW YOU MAY ENTER

If you've been following this blog then you know that our home was (and still is) in need of some serious TLC. For example our half bath that's off the family room. When we moved in it was this scary shade of red with a gold and red faux treatment around the sink. I was so embarrassed to let any of our guest go in there. As a matter of fact, I was scared to go in there!

After months and months of hard work (okay maybe 2 days), I have a bathroom that looks like this:

So much better. It's not totally finished (no project ever is). I need to add new flooring and a new mirror.

I found this sink on clearance at Lowe's for $25 and I'm kicking myself because the toilet was $25 too and I didn't get it. This sink is so much better because the sink that's currently in the space is hard to clean. I really would like to meet the lady who lived in this house prior to us!

BTW, I just kicked myself again!

I'm linking this up to Thifty decor chick's Before and After Party and BNOTP's Metamorphasis Mondays

For those of you that are new to my blog take a moment to check out my giveaway!

Oh my...that powder bath was truly scary. Halloween scary!! What a beautiful improvement. I can't believe the prices of those items, were they damaged? Sorry you didn't snatch them up, but another bargin will come along!

So much better! Oh, that faux painting was terrible. When I first saw it, I was really hoping it wasn't the after picture. I wasn't sure what I could've said that wouldn't have offended! Glad you went with something that looks clean and classy. Well done!

What a goregeous transformation. I love the color..so pretty. I kick myself often for not going ahead and taking advantage of good deals when I see them.

We have a half a bath in off of our laundry room. I want to redo it, but for now I use it to hang clothes in on two tension rods. As soon as I get my laundry room the way I want it (with somewhere to hang clothes out of the dryer) I will tackle the bathroom.

Pat yourself on the back, great job.

Hi! Miss L.D, love your blog. But allowed me to explain myself to other "Follower", I think that what comment is all about. You have the right of your own opinion. But if their getting sensitive about it, and drag it to another site. then they should review their own comment as well,.. with reading eyeglasses on to see clearly... talking about,..PLAYING NICER!..

P.S, Again i'm talking about the color itself. If SHE didn't get it.

THank you and more power to your blog!!!

I love the beautiful color! Such a gorgeous gold/yellow. It will be so easy to live with.
I think the sink you have now is lovely, and eventhough it is hard to clean, it has great style.
I'll be watching for more from your transformation

Much better! Lol. I can totally relate believe me. When we moved into our current home the master bath was this hideous faux painted mess of shades of hot pink! I'm not a pink fan in the place but gosh. What were they thinking! It's a very small bathroom too. Right now its a light green but after 7 years I'm ready for a change. We will gut it and paint a neutral color. Thanks for sharing.
