The next time I show you this dresser, I promise it will be in my bedroom! I wanted to do a quick update on how the hardware turned out. In my last post, I mentioned that I wanted the hardware to be shiny. Then you guys said that I should see how it looks as is so I did
What do you think? Honestly, I do like the hardware in its current state.
but the problem is, I've already (somewhat) shined one
So, I decided to go ahead and "somewhat" shine the rest. I made sure that I didn't over do it so some of the grime remained
You can tell that the pull on the bottom right has more shine than the rest, but I doubt you'll notice once it's in the room!
Let's see the before again shall we
I can't wait until "she" take the place of this chest of drawer
****Edited to add the picture of the dresser in the bedroom*****

Wow... that is gorgeous! I tried to redo a piece similar to that in fall and I blogged about it. Did it black... yours is WAY cuter!!! Fun Fun!
It's perfect!
Looking good!
OMG! I hope you are giving yourself a huge pat on the back, this is fabulous. You will never ever notice that one of the pulls may be slightly more shiny than the others...no big deal. I can't tell. It looks gorgeous, get it up into the room and show us a picture! Janell
i'm in love! looks great. i love old dressers, i made one into my media cabinet!
stop by my goodwill goodies blog party every wednesday!
ooohhh, kita!!! I love it, and think the hardware looks great. I do, however think that mirror should stay downstairs and "we" should find something bigger and super fabulous to go above the dresser. What do you think (or are you going to mount the tv?) ????
i think new hardware in silver would be great on this..
I'm thinking SILVER too! I luv the color of the dresser...just my style:)
Blessings,
Linda
it l@@ks great! And if someone notices a little more shine than the others, they shouldnt be in the "masters SUITE" anyway! It is gonna l@@k really nice up against that brown wall.
Can't wait...

What a beautiful dresser- such great curves and you did a beautiful job!
It's wonderful! I love painted furniture. Myself, I'm not a "gold" person so I'd give those handles a spray of something...maybe bronze or black. But it's wonderful...I look forward to seeing it in the bedroom. Lisa~ www.livingmybestlifeii-lisa.blogspot.com

That dresser is gorgeous! I am usually not into frilly, curvy lines but this is sooo cool with its new colour. Nice!

What a fun and funky color...great job! It gives a huge splash of color in the room. And the hardware is so sweet and feminine. LOVES IT!
I think how you shined the pulls just a bit is perfect. Give it kind of a shabby chic look. And Oh. My. Gosh. LOVE the color. I am a huge color fan and that just looks amazing with the chocolate brown wall!
