SPONSORED POST: HEAD AND SHOULDERS

My favorite color for clothing is black. You will always find me in a black shirt, dress, sweater, etc. Why am I telling you this? When I wear black, I prefer not to have unwanted flakes showing up on my shoulders. You know what flakes I’m talking about. If I must tell you, they are the ones that come from the result of having an itchy scalp!

Recently I went from having a full head of hair to having barely any hair, and until then, I never noticed having dandruff, or what I like to call unwanted flakes.

image image

Another thing I’ve noticed with my shorter hair is itchy scalp. I have never scratched my head so much! So when I had the chance to try out (for free!) the new Eucalyptus Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care shampoo and conditioner, I was very excited!

image

It has been a little over a week since I tried it out, so I’ve only used it twice, but I’ve already noticed that my scalp is less irritated. I’ve also noticed that because I don’t scratch my head as much, there has been less dandruff on my clothing. Not only does it relieve my scalp from irritation, but it also smells so good!

My mom used Head & Shoulders when I was growing up (and I’m sure she still does), but I remember clearly saying ewww whenever I saw it in the bathroom. I would tell myself that I would make sure I would never have to use it as an adult! One thing I remember from the shampoo as a child is that it did not smell as good back then!

A few things I have learned about dandruff and having hair and then none at all is that dandruff is not a result of not taking care of your hair or scalp. And lastly, never say never (especially when it comes to something that your parent is doing or using) because you may just experience the same thing!

I must admit that I am happy with the relief that I have experienced so far with this Head & Shoulders shampoo and Conditioner. Even if it didn’t work, it smells too good not to continue to use it!

How do you change your beauty routine in the colder winter season from the warmer seasons?

I have to use a thicker/heavier lotion during the winter months because my skin gets extremely dry. I also use lotion more than once a day.

In the winter, I use more moisturizer and lip balm. I also find I don't need to use as much hair gel to keep my hair from being frizzy.

My hair feels drier in winter, and flat from wearing hats..Wash my hair and use a deep conditioner in the winter more than I do in the summer. Hardly ever wear eyeshadow during the summer, when winter hits I start wearing again. I change my nail polish a bit and wear more glittery golds, green, or reds for the Holidays.
