I found an upholsterer that will do my chairs for $250 each, but I can't decide on a fabric (oh, and I found another one of those chairs at the Goodwill the other day).
I need something on the wall by the chair (should I use both chairs in the room?)
hmm, maybe a gallery/ wall of art?
I need to convince my husband that a PlayStation 3 is really not considered "Decor"
And while you're answering the other questions for me, answer this too: what was I thinking when I purchased this down comforter? can you say lumpy?
Have you ever had "decorating block"? Or, is that something I made up?!

A decorating block is something your husband has...Because a Playstation 3 is NOT part of Home Decor! I vote that we place his picture in the dictionary as "Home Decor Blocker"
Your room is coming along so nicely! You must be so excited. have you come across this blog Nuestra Vida Dulce? I love her living room and what she did behind her TV console. But you probably want to get more color in there to compliment your dresser. As for your hubby. I think we all struggle with living in our rooms or having a display like home. Your comforter makes me giggle and think moles in a yard. Good luck on your hunt and stay patient. Happy Easter!!

I get decorating block all the time. Mostly because I have too many projects going at once, so it's feast or famine - running around frantically putting them all together, or being overwhelmed and doing nothing.
Your bedroom is looking great. I love the colors! And your Goodwill is light years beyond mine - very jealous!
Ok this is my 2 cents
1) The playstation 3 would have to either leave the room or find a small armoire to put it in. :-)
2) A fabulous mirror over the dresser with on lamp. and a couple of decortive trays.
3) and your missing a layer, a rug unless you just don't want one in the room.
4) Your room appears to have a enough room for a seatee on that wall where you have the chair (relocate the chair) and a small side table with a lamp, for a nice little reading area
But it's looking good!!! OH and go back some of your old decor magazines for inspiration as well
Since your stumped why do you start with hanging some art on the walls or place a nice area rug in the room that will give you some inspiration! for a duvet and a choice for a chair fabric ....I would start there!
There are so many gorgeous duvets out on the market right now, just start at Target. Grab a latte, get in that beautiful SUV of yours, drop off the boys (somewhere) and give yourself a couple hours to slowly browse a few stores and see if anything jumps out at you. If not, I'm sure you'll at least find sometime interesting to blog about!
The room is coming along really really great. A great foundation that now just needs the details.

Oh, I have decorating blocks all the time. My hubby gets frustrated and says "this house will never be finished". I say to him "as long as it's functional, who cares how long it takes to get it decorated? Take your time and enjoy the journey:)
BTW, I think two chairs with a petite pedestal table in between and some wall art would fill that space in very nicely.
Have a great holiday weekend:)

i agree with everyone else--you have most of the major pieces, now you just need the details. did you decide on a color scheme (yellow or blue)? maybe that might help.
Hi, I'm new to your blog, but I think you're such a neat person and I love what you're doing to your bedroom. Have you checked out the new Pottery Barn catalog? The Audrey collection organic duvet may work for this space.
Good luck on finding the perfect bed covering!
I just found your blog and I really like what you're doing to your bedroom. Oh, I'm so envious - I love picking out fabric and those chairs are awesome! Can't wait to see what you decide!
I think you're on the right track... it looks like the base stuff is fantastic. :) Erica
