SHOPPING FOR OUTDOOR FURNITURE

Spring is here and with it comes beautiful weather. With highs here in the 90's already and pleasant lows in the mid 60's, it's time to start thinking about the outdoors. I don't have much in my backyard to work with other than a small concrete slab. Unlike the the above photo my space is limited to a few small chairs and possibly a small side table. But, like everything else, I plan to make the most of the space.

Last night, I went out looking for some possible contenders for my back 'patio' space. First stop, J C Penney

Cindy Crawford has some nice outdoor furniture and accessories. Although it is nice, this set up is a little too much for my space.

This chair (above) is a nice color and good size for the space. And for $39 it definitely has potential (and I have a coupon!)

Now, lets head over to Target where I found this table that would look great with the chairs I found at J C Penney, but first I'll have to make sure it will fit.

This set (below) had me at hello! But, the price said no:( At $500 for the chairs alone I'd rather wait until next year when we really plan to tackle the backyard.

Moving along to pillow options...

I'm thinking about something in the red family since I plan to paint my front door red. I found a few other pillows at Home Depot so stay tuned for those!

This is perhaps one of the most important places on your home, your backyard! It's usually over lunch or dinner (grilled salmon, chicken, fish, pork, turkey, shrimp with Pasta, Potatoes, and a Fruit Salad, with Arnold Palmer lace or not)that's where my family discusses everything. This is where memories are creative. So do it right, save and get what you want! You won't regret it! And get a nice LARGE Umbrella (don't try to cut cost on this item)!

90's?! Low 60's?! Can I come visit. Today we are due for another thunder/wind storm that leaves countless branches in my backyard! The storm earlier this week broke my umbrella, so yes, don't skimp on this item!!

All gorgeous... you and I are on the same wave length. Can't wait to get outside. I got fantastic stuff at Ikea. It was inexpensive and looks fab. You can order online too. xoxo Erica

those $39 chairs are just like the "trash" chairs I got from my neighbor last fall.

Not to be in your business, BUT since you asked :) If you still have those white and blue chairs I say give the arms and legs a fresh coat of white spray paint and find some cute blue and white outdoor pillows..splurge on a table with a nice umbrella and cute outdoor rug from Overstock or Lowes/Home Depot...that way you can save up for next summer's BIG project! *just my two cents*
